Včeraj sva bili z Veruško na CACIB Celje, kjer sva uživali v družbi hrtašev in prijateljev, lepo vas je bilo videti !

Sodnik borzojev je bil g. Miroslav Zidar (SLO), ki je prisodil Veruški VG (prav dobro), v razredu "Odprti". BOB je dobila borzojka iz razreda mladih Hiba, lastnice Marine Cornaglia, BOS pa samček iz razreda šampionov Ninochka's Zenos by H.R.I.B., lastnik družina Hrženjak.

Drugič se je na razstavi odlično predstavil tudi Von (v razredu Najmlajših) z lastnico Anjo Barille ... hvala Anja in Von za prijetno družbo in vožnjo :)

slo : dragi bralci PP bloga ... en mesec odkar se vam nisem oglasila. Zadnji mesec je bil namreč prepleten z kar nekaj tragičnimi dogodki v mojem življenju in sem potrebovala nekaj časa, da ponovno "zaštartam" v svoj običajni ritem. Lepo se imejte do naslednje objave ... tukaj pa utrinki današnjega dne :)

NAŠI MUCKI IŠČEJO DOM

Vse se je začelo tako, da se je pri mojih nečakih pojavila nekega dne lepa dolgodlaka muca. In ker ni hotela stran, so jo posvojili. Le kdo bi si mislil, da bo prav kmalu imela kar štiri mladičke. Seveda mama ostane doma (in gre na sterilizacijo) in otroci so se odločili, da tudi en mali kosmatinček ostane z mamico, da ji ne bo dolgčas :)

Trije prekrasni mucki pa iščejo nove domove in zelo skrbne in ljubeče lastnike. Mucki so zdravi, predvsem igrivi :) ... so že prav lepo samostojni glede hrane in so tudi navajeni na mačje stranišče.

Seveda so nadpovprečno :) socializirani, saj so se z njimi ukvarjali kar štirje odrasli (stari starši in pa starši) ter seveda moji trije (3) nečaki :) Torej so mucki primerni za vse, ki si želijo lepo sckrljanega mačjega družinskega člana.

Sofa Time :(

She got injured (ligaments & muscles) during a "happy hours" as I call the time when we go to a field to play with her friends :) . This is how we are doing now for more than a month. And as it seems it will be another month on the sofa and no walkings around. Just a little more than around the house. And all this on the leash!!! as the doc said. Than we will start to move slowly ... specially to go swimming as I think this will do the best for recovering ... and as we live to a seaside it is a perfect time :). After some months, hopefully she will be back on the fields ... running as she loves it :)

Zadnjo nedeljo v februarju smo preživeli nadvse sproščujoče in si napolnili baterije za cel mesec marec :) ... ja, na obalo sta prišla Nataša in Volodja (Veruškin bratec) in tako smo se odpravili vsi štirje na ogled čudovitega "gradiča" Miramare pri Trstu. Res da je grad manjši, vendar zato nič manj lepši od velikih bratov ... in v ponos mu je krasen botanični vrt ter neprecenljiv pogled / razgled na morje ... naslednji izlet pa v Gradež :)

Nataša, Volodja in Veruška ... ni kaj zares Carsko :)

We had fun ... and after all day also our borzois were very tired and happy to arrive home! Blayo was the "director" of the day ... and we just worked out with our hounds to be beautiful and performing ;) We met at Andreja's place in the mornig for a coffe (later for a delicious lunch - thank you :). First we started for some photos on Bloke and then we continued along the Črni Kal, close to seaside.

(Natasha and Volodja having fun ... Blayo is working hardly :)

(Andreja "instructing" her two girls : Vihra and Zoya ... while Blayo is working hard :)

This are almost last winter days ... and in one day we were on the snow. And after one hour driving we were in full spring, close to Adriatic sea!!! Yes, Slovenia is a great country ... from the Alps to Adriatic :) in one our.

I have recived some great photos from Veruschka's friends (also mine friends of course :). And I just have to share with you this wonderful captured - frozen moments. Veruschka and Zoya performed a great run so we really enjoyed to watch them. This was also the first time that they were competing/runing with each other in the same run at CACIL. My "oldie" was showing to the youngster Zoya that she is still the faster one and very fit ;) ... but still at the end Zoya gained a first place (she had a great first run and better points) and Veruschka was second.

After two excelent runs Veruschka was really happy and a little bit tired but not much :) She is a great and clever runner with full of stamina and her performans was just great on both runs. She gained an excelent 2nd place (186/185) with total points of 371.

... Zoya (Ninochka's Zoya by H.R.I.B.) spent her holidays with us. Of course we had a great time with lot of running and having fun and she is also a very good worker :)) like Veruschka, she used to help me at my work !
But here some photos of having great time and she is also a couch potatoe :) She really like it :))
Zoya also achived (on sunday) at CAC Trbovlje a great results : she was BOG2 and BOB, EXC1 in Open Class ... and with this title she finished her Slovenian championship ... fotos will come soon!

I spent a weekend with Andreja (Ninochka's Borzois) and Zoya in Austria at FCI EuroSighthound 2010 and Club show (sunday). Zoya did very well saturday and sunday, under both judges !!! She was excelent with R.CAC on saturday and CAC in Open class on Sunday!

We started our sunday eary (at 1 am) to arrive in Bratislava in the morning (after cca. 5hours driving). The weather and temperature was just good for dogs and for us too. It was a "borzoi day" as the Best in field & CACIL, was getting the female Belato Bella (HU). Also the slovenian "borzoi coursing team" achived an excellent results. Among 15 borzois - 13 were classified, Andreja's Ninochka's Zoy a by H.R.I.B. achived 4th place (& Beauty and Performance 2010) AND great result, 5th place, achived my Ninochka's Veruschka :)) Thanks to Andreja for driving us safely all the loooooooog way :)

Danes sta se zatekla v Boninih dva kužka.

Svetel samček, brez ovratnice in temnejša samička, s kovinsko ovratnico. Očitno sta živela skupaj, saj sta zelo navezana en na drugega.

Oba sta mlajša kužka in trenutno se nahajata v Azilu v Svetem Antonu pri Kopru. NISTA ČIPIRANA in bila sta vidno izčrpana, žejna in lačna.

Oba sta zelo prijazna ... samička pa zelo zbegana!

Če ju kdo pogreša naj ju gre ČIM PREJ iskat v Azil (srčno upam, da ju kdo pogreša) in upam, da nista zavržena ... Upam, da ju bo kdo prepoznal.

Few days ago we finaly met a young borzoi girl Leeloo, she came in Slovenia from France, and her owner Saša :) yes we were happy 'cos we have another borzoi around - I mean closed to us, as here around Veruschka is the only one ... and it is so nice to have a spearing partner for a borzoi play & run :D

Yesterday, on a beautiful sunny day, we decided to visit the Miramare castle. Offering a very nice walk in the shadows of old trees of a botanical Park of Miramare. We spent hours walking in surroundings with some rest ... for us and Veruschka. She was very kind to adults and kids as usual when we go to places full of people. She impresed most of the people with her grace, beauty and royal behavior :)) no, wonder since we were in the castle neighborhood.

SLAVNIK - 1028 m

Yesterday afternoon ...

a trekking on Slavnik mountain (1028 m) on a sunny day is such a pleasure as we were rewarded with a great view all around the other mountains ... but specialy on the Adriatic sea. We are living so close to Slavnik (near Koper) and we decided to go on friday to avoid the crowd of today (1st May) as usually on sundays and holidays many people go on trekking. Yesterday morning ...
we had pleasure to have a visit of very young whippet Tita, who came in company of two gorgeous boys, May (greyhound) and Gucci (whippet)... of course they don't drive ( yet ;) so they come in company of two legged people Sabine and Andrej :D . After we went into the woods to pick & search for wild asparagus (hm, have to tell you the truth : sighthounds are no help to find asparagus), adults hounds were tired but the little Tita was still jumping and playing around the garden :) ... next time we go in a search of tartuffi!

Sunday again we were on lure coursing. This time in Italy on 1st National coursing "Sala Bolognese" near Bologna. We had a wonderful sunny day and the hounds enjoyed to lure course too. Veruschka was placed 2nd / of 3mix, after an italian male Fenix Jasnisokol. She was good in both runs ... but we need to be more fit :) We were in company of Borut Mlaker (thanks for photos of me and Veruschka) and his afghan beatuy Boka (Celestian Blue Moon). Also Boka did very well, as she achived 3rd place /of 5females. But both of them had to run in 3 and not in a couple (Boka on first run and Veruschka on second run). It is a joy to see, after a run, that happy tired eyes of all sighthounds! See you on next run!

As usual, when Veruschka is running I really make only a few fotos of her run... well mostly finish ;) because I have to "run" with her on the field (with eyes only of course!). Sunday were only 2 (two) borzois running in field, Veruschka and Zoya (among 15hounds in catalog). On a first run Veruschka made some "short cuts" ... but on the second run Veruschka and Zoya showed us a really great performance, how the borzois catch the lure. At the end Veruschka achived the 2nd place (172points) R.CACL and Zoya was 1st CACL. See you on next run :))
