And here are the stages of "my little" Zoya growing up

... from little borzoi puppy to and adult female. Actualy, a beautiful borzoi female. Her showing career started wonderfuly. She is now 13 months old and she is already a Slovenian and Croatian Junior Champion :)) Of course I'm very happy and proud of her as she was living with Veruschka and me, until her new home was ready and she will always be in my heart as "my little Zoya". When she was 7 months old she went to her home at kennel Ninochka's - to a friend of mine, Andreja Novak. And it was hard for me and Veruschka to let her go! Zoya is living today with 3 other borzois, Ninochka's Vihra (Veruschka's sister), Multi Ch. Ninochka's Tcharodeika (Veruschka's grand mother, she was Veteran BOB Winner at EuroDogShow 2008 in Budapest) and Multi Ch. Haroschij von Schloss Olef (Zoya's grand father).

First of all I just wanna say that CRUFTS is a show of All Dog Shows! Yes, I am still impressed of all that dogs :) Simply beautiful and I've been there only on Thursday to see Hound group. This is a first post and lot of others will continue ... of course at the moment only about Crufts :)) were I was in a company with my friend Andreja Novak (Ninochka's Borsois) and Thanks a lot to Masha and Susan to "take care" of both of us at our journey in London (to Birmingham and back :) and a very special THANK YOU MASHA for hospitality :) ... thank you Victor for champagne and also Kazbek for a night walk, and hope to meet all of you soon again.

SLO : V soboto, 8. novembra smo bili na mednarodni razstavi, CACIB Šempeter. Borzoje in ostale hrte (X.skupina) je sodila ga. Martha Heine iz Nemčije. Pri borzojih je bilo prijavljenih 5 psic. Sodnica pa se je odločila, da si naslov najlepše pridobi Gitana di Rocca Barbara - lastnice Imelde Quinlan / handler Stefano Bergamo. Gitana je tudi v nedeljo, pri sodniku g. Jose Homem de Melo (P), dobila naslov CACIB in BOB. Čestitamo !
ENG : Saturday, 8th November, we were at international dog show CACIB Šempeter. The judge (group X.) was Mrs. Martha Heine from Germany. In borzoi group entered 5 females. The judge decided that the winner of the day (borzoi) was Gitana di Rocca Barbara - owner Imelda Quinlan / handler Stefano Bergamo. Gitana won also on sunday, with judge Mr.Jose Homem de Melo (P), CACIB and BOB. Congratualtions!

Gradisca d'Isonzo Expo

SLO : V petek, 15. avgusta, sva se z Zoyo odpravili predstavit unikatne ovratnice in povodce Petiit Pethaus v Gradisca d'Isonzo v Italiji. Odziv obiskovalcev je bil zelo pozitiven in navdušujoč. Predvsem pa sva spoznali zelo prijazne in prijetne dvonožce in štirinožce :)
ENG : Friday, 15th august, went with Zoya at Expo at Gradisca d'Isonzo - Italy. We met wonderful people and had a very great time with old and new friends :) And also people and their pets liked a lot Petiit Pethaus unique collars and leads.

Dog World Show - Stockholm 2008

SLO : Danes, 3. julija, se začne Svetovna razstava psov 2008, v Stochkolmu. Prijavljenih je 36 000 psov in srečno vsem psom in seveda tudi razstavljalcem :) Za več informacij o dnevnem dogajanju in rezultatih pa tukaj.

Ninochka's Zenos

SLO : Mladički so dopolnili dva meseca in pripravljeni za odhod k novim skrbnikom in novim dogodivščinam naproti. Zenos še čaka na ljubeč dom, kjer bo obogatil in polepšal vsak dan :). Za več informacij klikni na Ninochka's Borsois.

Slovenski klub za hrte je z velikim uspehom organiziral Evropski kongres irskih volčjih hrtov, ki je potekal od 23. do 25. maja 2008 v Kranjski Gori.

Na kongresu se je zbralo več kot 100 slušateljev in to kar iz 26 držav sveta - med njimi iz Japonske, Islandije, Kanade, ZDA ..., če omenimo le nekatere.

Dvodnevni specialni razstavi za Irske volčje hrte sta privabili razstavljelce iz 16 držav Evrope - najdaljšo pot je opravil razstavljalec iz Finske. Pripotoval je kar 2873 km - V ENO SMER !!

Zvezda razstave v soboto in v nedeljo je zmagovalec sobotnega in nedeljskega BIS-a CH PITLOCHRY'S CATWAEZLE iz Nizozemske.

Prireditev je bila ocenjena z superlativi - tako s strani udeležencev in razstavljelcev, sodnikov in predstavnika Kinološke zveze Slovenije - kajti odlična organizacija in fantastične okolica Kranjske gore v sončnem vremenu - se je tokrat izkazala za nepremagljivo kombinacijo .

Lahko vam je žal - če niste bili tam :-)

Hy there, my name is Annalisa and -maybe- some of you may already know me. I breed Whippets and Charty Polskie and it's easy to run into me at dog shows :-) I don't have much to add to your imagination: I live for my dogs, I take care of them, I'm their trainer ande chaffeur too :-) Dogs were never been in my life before, I'm a newcomer and switching from horses to sighthounds has been natural. Dogshows are like a vacation day, I really enjoy them and work hard at home to give to my "guys" a proper handling and making sure to have no surprises at all. I can say that my subjects loves to be showed and none of them have been stressed, they can't wait the next weekend! I'm starting now to breed a good litter's number, I mean 4 or 5 for year, and it's really hard to find the "perfect sire" for my bitches: it' s more a "statistic's matter" than all, it means that I have a kind of "virtual catalog" in wich I put all the sires that -in my opinion- are useful to my program. So, every year, I have to find a certain number of suitable stallions, and as the time goes by, it gets harder! Fortunately the science is making a lot of things possible thanks to chilled and frozen semen, but the distance still remain an obstacle to the breeding activity. A champion is not always a quality's guarantee, the pedigree works 100 times better, infact the last sire I choose is not a champion but he he did nice things already in his litters . The problem is that, I'm sure , there are a lot of nice dogs who will never be showed, making impossible to breeders to watch at them: dogshows exist exactly for this reason, to get connection with others with your interests, goals. People should do more shows, infact I always encourage my new owners to go at shows twice, at least, in a year. I could say more, but this is not my web site, it's about Vida !!! :-)))

SLO : V soboto in nedeljo, 19.in 20.aprila, je bila mednarodna razstava psov v Celju. V soboto smo bili tam kot obiskovalci in navijali za druge. Na fotografiji je sobotna zmagovalka (EXC 1, CAC, CACIB, BOB) pri Borzojih in sicer: Apassionata Nijinski Ballet (lastnik: Edith Titze).
ENG : Saturday Borzoi winner was a female: EXC 1, CAC, CAC, BOB Apassionata Ninjinski Ballet (owner: Edith Titze).
SLO : Pri fantih pa je dobil EXC 1, CAC, CACIB Radoga's Naletai (lastnik: Snježana Čipčić).

CACIB Zagreb, saturday 1st March

Minuli vikend je bila Veruša na Mednarodni razstavi v Zagrebu. V soboto je ocenjeval sodnik Thana Achariyawanin in ji prisodil oceno EX2 v konkurenci Mladih (štiri punce v skupini). PRM je dobila Ishyma Karo-Kolumbine. (foto : Nera Golojuh).
